Last night I went to cinema with a friend. It was the first time I went since I was implanted nearly a year ago. We watched Monsters vs Aliens 3D, It's cartoon. Because of 3D there is no subtitles. Of course I was a bit cautious about not being able to understand it let alone enjoy it....
Guess what... I was able to understand some of what they were saying without the need of subtitles and I really enjoyed it tremdously.

aw brill! :) cinema has always been loud enough for me to understand with the ci :)
No subtitles, debs watched that the other day with subtitles. Glad u are able to pick out some speech without subtitles, i've never been to cinemas yet!

Yup I saw it with subtitles... BUT not 3D. It was hard to follow without subtitles because its sort of cartoon.. if they were human.. maybe!!
subtitled films on regularly.. every weekend. but not always good films!! our local cinema with subtitles is odeon in Derby.
